Amanda serves as the Registrar and Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics, providing strategic leadership and overseeing the full scope of the Regulator’s operations to ensure effective regulation in the public interest. Amanda can be reached at registrar@nsrd.ca.
Deputy Registrar
Nicole MacPherson
Nicole is the Deputy Registrar of the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics. In this role, Nicole oversees the Regulator’s registration and licensing processes and leads key regulatory programs, including the Continuing Competency Program. Nicole is on leave from May 1, 2025, to September 2026.
Registration Coordinator
Monica Rodriguez, RD
Monica is the Registration Coordinator (term) at the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics. In this role, Monica supports and manages the registration and licensing processes for both applicants and registrants. Monica can be reached at registration@nsrd.ca.
Practice Advisor
Rachel Hilts, RD
Rachel is the Practice Advisor at the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics. In this role, Rachel offers guidance on professional standards and regulatory requirements, supporting registrants in delivering safe, ethical, and competent care. The Practice Advisor also responds to practice-related inquiries and helps promote a clear understanding of regulatory expectations. Rachel can be reached at practice@nsrd.ca.
